It's time to rewind to Round 4 of the campaign, with the release of Alex's Japanese Grand Prix stamp.
Albono's latest stamp design prominently features a classic red and white colour scheme, which mirrors the colours of the Japanese flag, symbolising purity and vitality.
The "Maneki-neko" cat, or "beckoning cat," often seen in shops and homes across Japan, is depicted with a raised paw, which traditionally signifies welcoming good fortune or customers.
The writing on the oval plate reads "Japan" in Japanese. Its stylised, cartoon-like representation adds a playful, approachable feel to the design, making it appealing and widely recognisable.
The design balances traditional symbolism with modern, clean lines, creating a fun, contemporary look.
