The excitement is building ahead of the 2025 season, as Alex prepares for his sixth Formula 1 campaign and his fourth with Williams Racing.
With just over two months until Albono gets back on track for pre-season testing, we’ve selected some of the key dates to watch out for over the coming year…

February 18th: Season launch

The 2025 F1 season kicks off with a launch event at London’s O2 Arena, to mark the sport’s 75th anniversary.
All of next year’s drivers will be in attendance, including Alex, and we’ll get to see Williams Racing’s brand new livery for the first time.
This event follows Williams' own FW47 launch on February 14th.

February 26th-28th: Pre-season testing

AA23 is heading to Bahrain in late February for pre-season testing, when he’ll be taking the FW47 for its maiden outing.
Our Thai racer will put Williams’ new car through its paces across three days in Sakhir, to fine-tune the vehicle ahead of the first race in March.

March 14th-16th: Australian Grand Prix

The 2025 campaign kicks off in Melbourne this year, as Albono looks to start the season with a bang.
He placed P10 at the Australian GP back in 2022 and only just missed out on a top-ten finish last season, so should be confident of challenging for points this time around.

March 23rd: Alex's birthday!

Alex will be celebrating his birthday in Shanghai this year, as it coincides with the Chinese Grand Prix.
Points in China would certainly be the perfect way to celebrate Albono turning 29!

April 13th-15th: Songkran

Songkran is the Thai New Year national holiday, renowned for it's iconic Water Festival.
The celebrations kick off while Alex is taking part in the Bahrain Grand Prix, but he'll still have a few days to enjoy the festivities before Round 5 gets under way in Saudi Arabia the following weekend.

June 25th: F1 movie release day

The much-anticipated Formula 1 film 'F1' is set for international release on June 25th, before debuting in Canada and the United States on June 27th.
It stars Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, as well as Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Javier Bardem and Sarah Niles.

July 4th-6th: British Grand Prix

The British GP is a home Grand Prix for Williams Racing — and Alex has marked the occasion in style over the past two seasons.
Albono recorded a P8 finish at Silverstone in 2023, before coming in P9 the following year.
Can he make it a third top-ten finish on the bounce when he visits the home of British motor racing in July?

September 19th-21st: Azerbaijan Grand Prix

AA23’s last visit to Baku was arguably the highlight of 2024.
He secured a season-best P7 finish, with team-mate Franco Colapinto coming just behind in eighth.
Let’s hope for another successful showing on the banks of the Caspian Sea in 2025!

October 3rd-5th: Singapore Grand Prix

Thailand may not currently have a Grand Prix on the Formula 1 calendar, but the Singapore GP acts as a de facto home race for Alex.
Plenty of AA23’s fans flock to Marina Bay Street Circuit each season, to witness one of F1’s most spectacular night races.

November 20th-22nd: Las Vegas Grand Prix

Talking of night races, there are few more eye-catching settings than the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.
November’s visit to Sin City will be Alex’s third stateside sojourn of 2025, following the Miami GP in May and the United States GP in October.

December 5th-7th: Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

The curtain will come down on the 2025 season in early December at the Yas Marina Circuit.
There could be plenty at stake in the United Arab Emirates, depending on Albono’s fortunes over the previous 23 rounds of racing!
