It's been an eventful 2024 for Alex — and we've captured some great shots of our Thai racer along the way.

Here are some of the best snaps from the last 12 months, showcasing Albono's year in pictures...

January

While there was no racing this month, January marked the start of Alex’s pre-season training camp with his performance coach Patrick. This photo was taken in Los Angeles during one of Alex and Patrick’s cycling workouts.

February

In February the pre-season preparations shifted into a higher gear with start-of-season promos, marketing, sponsorship activities and — most importantly — F1 testing. Taking place in Bahrain, Alex and Logan rotated the driving duties between themselves, aiding the development of the 2024 car.

March

March marked the start of the F1 season with the Bahrain GP, and the Australian GP later in the month. This photo of Patrick alongside the hardworking Williams mechanics was taken in the garage during the Bahrain Grand Prix.

April

April introduced us to the Asian leg of the season, with a visit to Suzuka, Japan and Shanghai in China. This on-track photo of Alex was captured at the Suzuka International Racing Course, one of Alex’s favourites.

May

While Alex didn’t have the easiest start to the season, May was the month in which he scored his first points of the campaign during the Monaco GP. This photo was taken on Sunday evening by Lily with her Mamiya camera on the roof of the Williams hospitality building, after Alex successfully scored two points.

June

June was full of racing, including the Canadian GP, Spanish GP and Austrian GP. This photo was taken after the wet race in Canada, in which Alex executed the very memorable double overtake on Daniel Ricciardo and Esteban Ocon.

July

In July Alex was back among the points during the British GP in Silverstone, successfully securing a P9 finish. What made this even more special was that the result was achieved with the Williams Racing staff tribute livery (see photo), featuring all 1,005 team members.

August

After a three week summer break, we returned to racing in late August at the Dutch GP in Zandvoort, where this photo was captured. While Alex managed to qualify impressively in 8th, he was unfortunately disqualified due to a breach of the technical regulations.

September

September came with two points-scoring race weekends, in the form of a P9 in Monza and a P7 in Baku! This photo was captured in Baku, after the year’s first double points for Williams with a P8 for Franco.

October

In October Alex celebrated his 100th Grand Prix in Formula 1 with a surprise special helmet. Completely covered by Valentino Rossi stickers, the design was a replica of Alex’s first ever racing helmet as a kid.

November

November was one of the more challenging months for Alex this year, with a continuing streak of bad luck and DNFs in both Brazil and Vegas. This image was captured on the grid during the sprint race that weekend.

December

In December we wrapped up the season with the 24th race of 2024 — the Abu Dhabi GP. Thats’ where this group photo of Alex and his side of the Williams Racing garage was taken.
