Hadjar has got close. Alex is using the DRS from Sainz to fend off the Frenchman and retain P9. Lap 42/50

Hadjar is closing in, but slowly. Radio communications between the pit wall and Carlos' car are talking about helping Albono out with some DRS to defend... Lap 39/50

Alex is back to P9 as Hadjar finally stops. The Racing Bulls driver is on fresh Mediums, three seconds behind Albono. It could be tricky to keep him behind... Lap 36/50

Back to the point-scoring positions. Alex is now P10 as he passes Stroll on the inside of Turn 27. Hadjar is going long in P7, and will fall behind when he boxes. Lap 32/50

"It’s a lot of fun to drive around this track with so many high-speed sections. It’s going to be very close in Qualifying, so there’s some fine-tuning to be done ahead of the session. "Tyres are always a talking point here, especially when the track cools off throughout the session. We’re usually good at getting the tyres in the right window, so let’s see how tomorrow’s session goes."
