We can confirm Alex's car issue was a power unit overheating issue, likely caused by some sort of debris being caught in the radiator during the pit stop.

After a tricky opening stint of the race, an undefined issue to Alex's FW46 means our No.23 will not be able to finish the race and is forced into retirement on lap 17. Such a disappointment for Albono after a promising weekend.

It's almost time here under the lights in Singapore! Just 20 minutes away from Alex going racing in the original night race...

Alex improves on his time, but it's not enough to make it to Q3 and it will be a P11 start on the grid tomorrow. Some complaints over the radio about the car - the team and Alex will regroup after today's learnings and be ready to go again on race day tomorrow.

We are back from Singapore for the final practice session of the weekend! The track has dried in the humid heat after last night's monsoon, and Albono is getting set to go in under 30 minutes...

The chequered flag signals the end of Free Practice 2, with Alex’s best lap time of 1:31.650 placing him in P9. That’s it for today, but see you tomorrow for FP3 and Quali!
